If you trust your partner you shouldn't need to tell them what they can and can't have. If they respect you enough then they should know better and not cross the obvious lines
I don't allow my boyfriend to have apps like that, and honestly it's not controlling it's just respect, I do the same for him. He doesn't even have friends that are girls because he doesn't want me to worry.
