Its not just that its this whole new trend of "gentle parenting" that these parents are doing where they literally let the kids walk all over them and not do anything because how dare you discipline them. Its also "I want to be best friends with my child" like yes have a bond with your kid but you need to also put her foot down on certain behaviors
@Ally, I think now a days a lot of people are becoming parents because they like the idea of it, but don't realize it involves disciplining your child.
Yep. It seems to be every time we go to therapy that a kid is beating the crap out of their mom or dad and instead of correcting it they are dragging them across the floor
