Oh I had a big horse I broke out like that. 3 YO TB and already 17.2, but liked to chew on leadropes like a pacifier. He eventually went in a key bit. Some look weird but he adored it.
Honestly, anything and everything can be used as a weapon or become a bad thing if it's used incorrectly. Like I said before, I prefer bitless but I'm not sitting there having to yank on the horse either. Just like anything else you have to know how to use said tools you have and know when too much is too much and crossing lines. If you can't handle your horse then you shouldn't be riding.
JP, yep. so many people assume bitless is nicer but the leverage can make it just as nasty as any bit. totally depends on the bridle you use, and like you said, some horses don't like that pressure
Mine would hate being bitless. Wasn't a fan of face/nose pressure. Wasn't even a fan of the 2-3 times I tried to ride around in a leather halter. Rope halters and bitless bridles would have been horrible for him. Simple double joined bridle and a variety of ergonomic, loose fit bridles for us.
It really just depends on what Oklahoma likes. If she doesn't like the bitless bridle, then I'll have to do research into what type of bit(s) she might have been shown in.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
