Percheron is a draft horse originating in the Huisne river valley in France.Usually grey or black in colour, Percherons are well muscled, and known for their intelligence and willingness to work.
Height 15.1-19hh. Head has a straight profile, broad forehead, large eyes and small ears. Chest is deep and wide and the croup long and level. Feet and legs are heavily muscled. Powerful and rugged. Proud and alert.
