um, well, hating all other people can be a problem for a horse if something happens and their primary person cannot care for them for a period of time. But hey, maybe that is just me that wants my horses to be respectful and have good manners with anyone who comes in contact with them. I am old, call me old fashioned if you must. We got him home, it was about 2:00 a.m. and put him in the stall. I went to get hay to give him and when I walked to the stall door he was at the front of the stall drinking water. He saw me approach, and I was still several feet away from the door, he leaped to the back wall, hitting the wall, and stood back there looking scared to death. He NEVER did anything like that before. He always met us at the stall door with his dorky mule nicker.
Took about 3 weeks, but he is his old self in the stall again.
He has some nervous issues when leading him that he never had before, but they are mostly all gone too.
My horse was previously abused, I was one of the first people in his life who didn't just hit him back when he did something because he was afraid, and because of that he's learned to trust me and doesn't act out anymore. He's still rude to other people but I can't do much for them
I may lease baby eventually. I have a few to try till their current leases end in October. Then I can get to work practicing for when I show a bit more next year.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
