Eve, It genuinely broke my heart. He was just in a little bundle in the back of his tiny hanging bird cage... Took a while to get him to come out of his shell and understand he wasn't going to be separated again. |

Gem I mean when the horse is completely alone and does not even have horses in the distance, just completely alone. My shetland is paddocked alone as she badly kicks, however has two paddocks where my other horses are, that she stands next too and sniff over the fence etc :) |

@DD I LOVE researching. And honestly any pet I'd get, would have as much thought put into their life as I can possibly manage. XD |

DD, I rescued a budgie once and almost cried. Poor guy was so depressed, didn't have a flock, was never allowed out, and didn't even have a proper diet or toys... He's happy today with my budgies. |

Not bird related but I hate when people get one horse and keep it completely isolated from other horses :( I have 10 horses and they are so happy in their herds |

Versa, People really need to do their research! It's almost annoying how ignorant people can be |

They also NEED toys... And a cuttlebone. Please, please. Some people skip these and it's a quick trip to lack of nutrition. |
