Be careful with overweight though. It does take years off their life as the fat starts pushing on the organs eventually. Cowboy does not look overweight in the photos to me though.
I'm not too worried about it (like I am my cat) because is a really active snake. Spends a lot of time slithering around his enclosure and climbing things.
Hognoses are definitely more round. on that chart I'd say no tail bulge + "overweight" for a BP would be just fine for a hognose and that's what he looks like to me, but I'm not a vet so :p
My ball pythons get fed every 14 days Boas anywhere between 20-30 days depending on their weight And Tamlin gets fed weekly whether he chooses to accept it or not lol
He looks good now. I am being careful on my boas- refeeding has been a stressful event. Last I weighed the female was sitting at 2252 grams and the male at 1646 But they just ate Saturday so I shall weigh anytime between now and Saturday haha. They only get fed once a month now they are on mediums.
