im also not a fan of the spade bits used by bridle horses because i feel like there's too much room for error, but a nice bridle horse is worth its weight in gold
That's a hard camp to be in, eury. So many people think obedience means their horse likes their bit. I promise you, your horse does not like your double twisted wire gag bit
I don't necessarily agree with it, as I'm in the "if your horse can't go in a snaffle then you're not training it very well" camp, but I do respect the culture behind it
It's a spanish tradition, Eliot. Only the most well-trained horses are allowed to 'graduate' to them. One of the tests they do is tying horse hair to the bit instead of reins, and if you can ride the horse without breaking the hair (aka not needing a lot of pressure on the reins) then the horse is sensitive enough to go in a spade.

If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
