I know. I've done it myself. Just make sure you drink lots of water, take vitamins, and increase your protein intake, if you're feeling tired afterwards.
hes currently soaked in sweat after every ride since he has what would be a full winter coat for a lot of horses and its still like 70-80 degrees out.. he still has like a lot more hair to grow too
same angel, it only gets below freezing a couple times a year, but most people dont ride when it does. my horse is apparently prepared to move to canada so i just put a quarter sheet on him and some boots and keep us moving lol
We dont ride if its Below freezing because its not good for the horses health mainly because they are not used to it as it doesn't happen but once or twice a year
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
