@Wolf, I think that is a totally ok feeling! I didn't feel that way at that age. XD I am 24 now and only in the last year have I felt like, ok my family is getting on my nerves. I am ready to be independent and live my own life.
Hummer I can't wait for college. I know I should enjoy being a " kid " but I'm ready to be away. I know it's a lot of responsibility and such but it will be worth it.

I want to get away from my Grandparents. My Mom feels she has this "duty" to be there for them even though they are abusive. Unfortunately her so called duty to them outweighs her duty to her kids who are also emotionally abused as a result.
