I love cooking but I'm not the 7 course chef type. I'm used to cooking for my family of 5 & as we are super busy these tend to be on the go or cook ahead type meals Pretty much everything will be from absolute scratch as we have alot of allergies in the family My hope is to help people & to share my favorite foods with others .......... I am going to put the family's allergy list here so of you see something absent from a recipe it will be easier to recognize why Gluten Peanuts Almonds Parsley/Cilantro/Carrots/Dill Coconut Pork Sunflower Blue cheese

Best way to cook beans This goes for any type but lima beans Put 4 cups dry beans in a 1 gal container Rinse Fill container with water & soak 6 hrs or overnight In the morning rince & drain Put soaked beans into either 6qt or 8qt pressure cooker (bean/chilli setting) or 6qt crock pot (crock pot goes on high for 6-8 hrs) When beans are done cooking you can immediately make chili or bean dip If you intend to make bean dip now or later blend them now Method 1: Put them in the blender 1 cup of bean at a time with 1/4 cup water blend till smooth (you may want a rubber spatula to clean the sides) Method 2: Add same ratio of water to beans & blend with a stand mixer or hand held egg beater Edited at September 21, 2023 09:09 AM by Frog Judgment Acers
