My hognose, Cowboy, got an enclosure unpgrade today. I am hoping he apprciates having a larger area to explore, but all he has done thus far is hide in his humid hide. I will have to wait and see...

Anyone else enjoy enclosure cleaning day? I spot clean everyday and deep clean on Saturdays. Tairn is on the substrate he is on for another 10 days or so. Then I am going to switch him to something else- haven't decided what yet. Tairns was the only one I cleaned, Tamlins was clean. Just a poop in his hide. Tamlin got fed today too so it will be a couple days of hiding for him before I get a pic of him.

I love a clean enclosure, but my snake hates going in the plastic storage container while I clean. 😆 what do you use to clean? When I first got my e enclosure I used bleach diluted with water and made sure it was rinsed and aired out well.

I use soap water then diluted bleach. He did not like going into the storage container- scratched me up real good. Tamlin is starting to calm down now that his tank is in our bedroom oddly enough. I was able to handle him for a few minutes yesterday. He is wiggly and fast but did so good.
