I live in Clearwater and am very familiar with Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter died a couple years ago because her intestines were affected by the way she had to swim with no tail. A few other of the rescued dolphin favorites died within a year or so. Sad, but we still have Hope, Nicholas, Izzy, Rudolph and Rosie. Plus they save sea turtles, otters, pelicans, etc and are in the process of being certified to take in manatees. They only keep animals that can't be released to the wild after medical treatment and you can find live webcams of the animals at their website.
