I've been so busy, and haven't gotten around to updating this lately.

My nerve block has worn off, and although I'm in quite a bit of pain.. It's not effecting my daily life. Which is weird..

They refuse to do another one, or do surgery, so I've nearly given up at this point as I have 3 handfuls of other mysterious medical issues to sort out.

I don't like to bother you too much, but I want you to know that I think of you often and wish there was anything I could do to help 💜

This thread was originally meant to update people so I don't seem like a total ghost, but it's given me loads of support with this issue over the past while.

I did visit the ER a few days ago for a severe UTI and kidney infection. Which is besides the point, but I did bring up how I was refused help for MALS (this was as totally different hospital) again at my current surgeon, and regular hospital. Not only did the ER doctor see what I came in with, and try to tell me something along the lines of "Oh, I see in your chart that you struggle with abdominal pain and UTIs extreely often? Let's get to the absolute bottom of this tonight.", he handled me with total care, and worked on getting me another GI recommendation, and vascular surgeon recommendation so I can get this surgery on this side on the road as well.

This was hands down the absolute best care I've ever had.

Anytime I was in pain, it was "Okay, let's try a differnent pain medication." instead of forcing me to take the bare minimum (tylenol and torodol) and use me as a complete research experiment.

Hopefully all will be well soon.

As for my sick patterns (I like to call them..)? I'm still getting severely sick, and even brought home the flu and pneumonia again. Pneumonia due to aspiration (constant vomiting, acciadentally breathing it in.), and Flu strand B.

Of course it's a plus that I'm not deaing with strep anymore, but I'm still getting sick about the same amount as I was before I had tonsils and adenoids removed. Obviously, that's a problem. Next in line is testing for any and every autoimmune disorders that we possibly can, since it just really seems to be one root cause, funeling all these other issues happening with me.
