- Hay. Being able to get hay bales as a reward would be helpful
- Bay horse capture token
The item for a free mane or tail change is already in the game, the spray shine :) Edited at July 21, 2026 02:19 PM by Asgard

A "reveal bravery" item - without having to go exploring and spend time/moves to find out it's sub-par

With this "With the "JUST KIDDING"- Item, I like that! But I think it needs to be used right on the breeding. As in "Do you want to use a Just Kidding token on this breeding to be able to make a colt a filly?" If you then want the colt to stay a colt or it comes out a filly anyways, the pricey token would be gone (to prevent overusage). Also, I think there should be a maximum usage of 1x per stable and game year. There's no way your vet would be kidding you with every foal you get lol."
We already have tokens to use during breeding to choose filly or colt. This would be for after the breeding and lets say you get an EEE colt that would be a beautiful filly and you want it as a filly. Then you can use the token. But yes, a limit to how many you can do each game year is good as well.

I think 2-3 mil would be a reasonable price to avoid overusage especially with WWW horses that are bred I think there should also be a timeframe for each foal after being bred. Edited at July 21, 2026 02:45 PM by CelestialKingdom

Most definitely a time frame... I'm thinking as soon as you test the ratings, you have like 30 minutes to do it or something.
I don't like that price though. That's not realistic for a lot of people. I say a lower price, like around 300k, but again, limit to only using once or twice a game year. I always thought it would be really cool to have items that give you a (temporary) passive effect to your account. My timed items ideas would be: Lucky Horseshoe - Carry a little extra luck with you! For the next 30 minutes, you have an increased chance of capturing a higher-rated wild horse. Wanderer's Map - A weathered map marked with forgotten trails and hidden caches. For the next 30 minutes, you have a rare chance of discovering bonus items while capturing wild horses. Lucky Lasso - Legend says any horse caught with this lasso is destined to become a loyal companion. For the next 30 minutes, you have a small increased chance of capturing wild horses with higher bravery Peacock Feather - Carried by collectors in search of nature's rarest beauties. For the next 30 minutes, you have a slightly increased chance of capturing wild horses with uncommon or rare coat colors. (This item would not affect actual genetic traits, but maybe it could also increase the chance of a brindle) For a single use item: Moonstone Charm - A shimmering moonstone believed to bring beauty and good fortune. The next foal produced has a slightly increased chance of inheriting a rare cosmetic color or marking. I want this but I would also like another version of this where its a Just Kidding item but instead of sex change, gene change where you can change 1 gene as long as the gene your changing it to can be influenced by the at gene type for example on agouti changing Aa to A+A or on a sport pony MuMu to mumu or Mumu and this item could be used after you gene test a horse but you can only use it once per horse so if I use it on a horse to change the from gold bay roan to wild bay roan I can never use another just kidding gene changer on that horse they could be represented as jack in the box with the clown sticking but instead of a clown it would be a horse head so for sex change it could have a pink polka dot party hat and for gene it could have a rainbow party hat Gene changer also kind of covers brindle since no brindle is X- but you could change it to X+ to get brindle Edited at July 21, 2026 03:16 PM by Guard Horseman Gang

I love this! If it is going to be from colt to filly, then I do not think this should be cost prohibitive - it makes sense to make it cost 200k or so, since realistically, people are just going to use it as a consolation prize for breeding shiny EWW and below colts, lol. If it could change the sex of the foal to either filly OR colt, it makes sense to price it up there with a Sven. Similar to DD's suggestion of bonding 2 items together, but I propose an item that would allow you to combine specifically 2 glasses together. The 'combo' item could cost $500k or so, and would require you to buy the desired glasses and then craft the 3 of them together to make the Combo Glass. It would be for the creator's use only, no ability to sell to other stables.
