Nowhere near as severe as an infestation, just really love my algaonemas and philodendrons. I believe they’re dark-winged fungus gnats. More annoying than anything once they grow up, but I’m paranoid the larvae are going to destroy their roots.

I was told previously that depending on the type of plant and the severity that you’d have to just trash the whole plant. But I’ve also read that super diluted water with soap sprayed on the leaves of the plant can help. But if it’s in the soil, you need to completely replace the soil and clean the roots. I’ve not personally had the issue with any of my monsteras despite a fruit fly issue last year. But know people who have and just had to get rid of everything.

I sometimes favor a subtler brindle over very starkly contrasting ones if the colors don’t match well. For example, I’d favor the chestnut on chestnut over a grullo with red based brindle

My premium ran out today, and normally I would buy it myself either with real money or ebs, but recently both have been superrrr tight. If anyone would be willing to pitch in with some ebs it would be very appreciated! <3
