So I'm a returning player who had an acc several years ago, and embryos are very knew to me! I would love some help understanding how they work and when/how to use them. I know that you can create an embryo of your own horses and then implant it into a surrogate, but that's basically it. How does it work when you buy it from other people? Is the stud already chosen? Do you choose the stud? Can you use straws? Anyways, I'd love some help! Thank you <333

When you buy an embryo, you buy the whole thing, it's buying an unborn foal after all. If you go to the store you can already see how embryos are. Now, what people offer on the forums is the possibility to create an embryo with the stud of your choice. You provide the straw to the owner of the mare, they will create the embryo and sell it to you. There are certain limitations to this process that are written on the game guide ;) also, the vet's office also provides some info in the embryo section.
