So I just need to write this because it's going to eat at me until her Vet appointment. My baby, who you can see in my bio, is currently not doing too well. And she hasn't been doing too well for almost two years now. She has lost a serious amount of weight, hair, and mobility. Her mobility already was impaired because of an incident that happened when she was very, very young, however it's just gotten worse. She can't gain any weight, and if she does she immediately loses it. Her hair is extremely thin andhas lost any kind of shine it used to have when she was younger. And has for her walking and just being able to move around... She can barely just stand up and stay still. Her back legs are now far too weak and she's experiencing pain in them. She's always had to lean forward to stay up but now she's starting to overcompensate and just ends up falling on her face sometimes. It's been incredibly hard to watch my best of almost 9 years, who's been with me through a lot of what life's thrown at me, go through this horrible decline in her quality of life. Shit I'm crying now... So today, she started having intense pain in her back legs, pretty much screaming whenever she tries to get up sometimes, and so she's been sleeping and laying down the majority of the day. We (Parents and I, siblings know nothing of this) and it's actually more of my parents idea, to put her down. This idea is totally and completely a last restort for me, she's basically like my child. But I understand why they think it's necessary, and I agree, I hate seeing her suffer and struggle to just walk like how she used to. So I'm conflicted. She's been having issues like this for awhile now, and it would be best to just let her rest. However on the other hand... She's my baby, my world, and I seriously can't imagine not having her with me. Selfish hand, I know. We're taking her to a vet soon to get her checked out and see if there really is any other option, however, as it's looking right now, I might be losing my best friend.

Oh tasi I'm so sorry you're going through this Definitely go with what the vet says, these are just two tips that have helped me with lucky Coconut oil improved his coat tremendously, and feeding him homeade food has helped him gain weight steadily I recommend the Balance It website to make a recipe for her. They also have supplements to make sure your pup is getting everything she needs. Though it is incredibly difficult to do, depending on what the vet says, putting her down might be the right thing to do. Sending hugs to you. Watching a beloved family member suffer is such a horrible feeling. Let me know if you need to talk <3

Thank you, Licky for the kind words. We've tried a lot of stuff for her, coconut oil, fish extract, her own diet plan, but I appreciate the suggestions :)
