Why be a CNA when you can be a medical assistant? I got hired in at 17/hr as a receptionist at a hospital. They pay for your schooling if you decide to work for them for at least a year if you want to be a Medical Assistant. There may be something like that near you. Vet Tech is cool and all but you don't ever go any higher. Once you're in that's as high as you go unless you go back for more schooling to get certificates for Lead VT etc. Just a thought!
