Because you wanted to. If they cannot support you, then so be it. You made a decision based on your feelings. Take it from someone who did not follow their Military dreams because of family.
I took the ASVAB for funsies and got an 86, I still have recruiters messaging me occasionally it's amusing. But hey, it's a solid job. Both my parents are military, they're doing pretty well for themselves. My mom joined the Army when she was 17.
@Fawn That might be difficult to execute the get them back part if you don't have an extremely trustworthy person on here. Theres a reason "boarding" went out of style on here
