It also depends on how much he clipped off. If you let the horses hooves get pretty long and he had to trim alot off then they could just be tender, soft footed, for a bit and will just take a few days to harden up again.

I'm hoping thats all it is, thankfully the vet will be coming today to check him out! Thank you all for the advice/information! <3
