So recently one of my miniatures passed away and my other miniature has been having a hard time with it she just isnt acting herself. She usually is sassy and carefree but lately she has been super "sad" just letting her head dangle and she wont come up to me like she usually does. I have three other horses but she just isnt paying any attention to them. She has been joined to the hip with my other miniature and has been like that ever since we got her and im just super concerned. Our other horse was like that until we got another horse for her so im not sure what to do in this case. Any suggestions?? Tips?? I just want my baby to be okay and act herself again :(
How recent was it? Was she able to see or be around the miniature who passed after passing? I know it sounds weird but I've read lots of things about horses being able to sense that their friend is gone and move on from it, instead of said friend disappearing and not knowing where they went. I know this isn't always possible, just curious.

She passed away in May. Im pretty sure she wasnt with her when she passed. Its true that horses can sense that. My other horse had that problem but getting her a new companion really helped. Im just not sure if i got her another companion if she will do the same since she has been ignoring her other companions.
