this is the best week 7 I have had since starting. I am so proud

I'm ready at this point to say fuck it and buy my bike that I want
But then again and I don't want him to be super pissed at me either
He's not normally like this. He's a pretty chill guy who usually lays out all options on the table and be like "you pick the best option in your opinion, I'll pick mine and if they are different we will negotiate to make it work" but that ain't happening with this issue and I'm the only person he knows who rides motorbikes

Sooo yeah I don't know what to do right now

My younger brother rode a Harley for years. Now it sits in the garage since one of his buddies was killed on his.
Perhaps something similar has happened. People can change their minds about things.

It's the fact the sidecar was his idea in the first place is annoying me
As in for picking up the twins when their dad asks

Sounds like to me, he's not keen on the idea of having the kids in the sidecar. For whatever reason.

And part of me (as a fellow ninja lover) thinks something may have spooked him about the motorbikes. I have that with my wife every so often with her anxiety, and I do use my car more now, but it would scare her randomly when I would start using the bike more

Yeah sounds like there is something else going on in his head If he's trying to get you to trade it in. I'd talk to him about why he wants you to trade it on when it works fine, don't even bring up what you want to do instead.

Does something really need to be purchased? Can the money just go into savings?
Malikova Madness
11:26:42 Amber
Yeah I dunno
Mine has always been the back up to be honest and it hasn't let us down so why he wants it changed I don't know
Why he doesn't buy another car if he wants one that badly I don't know
He has the money it's not like he already has 3 cars at work why he can't bring one home to use as a back up I don't know
They are all his personal cars too just chilling at work

Pine - it would depend on their production.
I'd pay more for a consistent high rating producer.
I've had WWW produce shit.

Pine, depends on breed, gender, training and production

Sounds very much like a conversation less about what's actually the best idea and more he's worried it's unreliable from age since he likes his new car. Especially if you have multiple bikes, you're talking a financial talk between the two of you, since I was just going to recommend to trade in your current one for a pre-owned and then you'll get your bike faster, but this sounds a lot more like a miscommunication or a missed expectation somewhere between you two

Pine, there's a lot of factors. Production, training pedigree to an extent, LB(?), breed, age etc.

No matter how old or new a car is anything can go wrong. I welded chassis for a few car companies and all I'll say is don't trust your car even if it runs perfectly. Always have a back up car in case

Well, I may stick to the ideas of tbs. I like these two week fours considering!

I am hoping to be able to buy the ten plus acres next to us eventually as well. :) It is just so much to properly take care of though

I've got about 16 acres of land. As long as it's set up properly and isn't literally starting from scratch, there isn't to much work. :)

Ohh. Yeah, that's going to be a lot of work then in the beginning. Generally though once everything is finished setting up though, work should be light.

Thank you! :)
They are my oldest mare and her colt from 2015.
And you would be very welcome, if you lived nearby. ;)
I do show them, but so far only at breeding approvals (I'm not sure if that's the kind of showing you mean - I'm not familiar enough with English to know the proper terms ;) ).

They are so gorgeous! You are blessed! The type of showing would probably be called conformation or halter classes here, and that plus dressage is what I would love to get into eventually :D

I looooove Gypsy Vanners!! <3
Wish I owned some myself!

Registries - look for the one that the big breeders use, or that overseas breeders approve of.

They large scale breeders I have seen from Texas use the GHS or GHRA from what I can tell. Both say that they work with overseas registries. The GHS is the oldest and was started by the man that first imported Gypsys to the US

Then it's probably the conformation and halter classes, I show mine in. :)
I'm a really bad rider myself, so no dressage classes for me. ;)

I honestly have grown up mostly riding western or bareback, due to the horses I was able to ride or afford as a teenager, but have always had a passion for English riding since I was little. All of my friends or instructors always thought I had come from formal English or dressage training from the way my seat is and light hands, among other factors, when they first watched me ride. So this is my chance to finally buy a dressage trained mount, and Gypsys at the same time xD
