Update!

Tonight I started teaching Mo how to lay down on cue! He's starting to pick up on step 1 & 2 nicely, I'm going to get him to master those before we go on any farther :) I didn't get any pictures or videos as it was to dark, but I'm going to work on it again when I go out tomorrow so I might get some then! If anyone is curious, I'm using Sam Vanfleet's technique (it's on YouTube and I can provide the link for anyone interested <3)

I use Sam's methods as well. Super effective for all the horse's I've owned. I did my first session of it with my new girl today:)

I've followed her on Instagram for forever, but haven't really watched any of her videos before the lay down one, I can't wait to binge the rest of them though as I love her methods! :D XD

My haflinger gelding was a very fast learner, and I was able to teach him to bow, lay down, smile, spanish walk, rear from back and on ground, hug, sit, and basic things like follow and touch

That's so cool, Coven!!! Mo knows how to hug and he's learning how to bow and lay down right now :D

Update:

I got some videos from the other night, and I practiced a bit more today, he has step 1 and 2 pretty much mastered, now we're introducing step 3 (didn't get any videos of it yet), but I'll try to next time!

Laying down videos slides 3-7
