For just general health/to fill in the gaps I really like MegaCell. It's in a pellet form and even though I kind of think it smells a little weird, the horses seem to really like the taste. I also like to supplement everybody with MSM for joint health. It usually comes in a powder form but SmartPak makes a really nice pellet with the MSM baked into it that is both affordable and the horses seems to like. I've done biotin as well in the past but if your horses have access to good quality pasture and/or supplemented grain, while I'm not against still adding biotin you probably don't really have to give extra. Another thing I always make sure the horses have access to is a good quality mineral or salt block. I think that covers most of the basic needs, again provided you are providing them with good quality pasture/hay/feed as well. I'll echo though that I also think Red Cell is a wonderful product and worth your consideration, as well as CocoSoya if you feel your horses need some extra fat or omegas. I've personally used both of these as well and both are palatable to the horses and give you a lot of bang for your buck in the results they provide.
