Get a new ferrier. The guy you're using doesn't give a rat's ass about your horse's hooves. The left rear is looking like it's starting to deform a bit as well. The chips and cracks aren't normal if the hoofs are being trimmed well.

Coming from family that consists of farriers my mom my dad and my grandparents along with owning a farreir supply store I would say Its hard to tell wether your farrier is doing his job or not. For two weeks those feet are long however the amount of heel he has is partailly due to the fact that he seems a little club footed which is not a probem and is handled all the time. since he is high on his heel he is ultimalty going to be putting more weight on his toe therefore trimming the toe more is going to lead to a sore horse which is not what you need or want. thererore he is leaving it long to prevent such a thing, the length will cause the chipping which is honestly a totaly natural thing as long as there are no cracks that are begining to get large and reach all the way up the hoof. even in the pictures you can see he is wearing down his toe end quite quickly. often with the frog I find as long as it is growing straight there is not need to trim it Once it start to grow crooked or wonky your farrier needs to correct it to ensure you horses hoof does not try and correct that itself and become deformed. I would definitly watch for white line, and in the end If your not happy with the trimming honestly change farreirs, I find going to a freinds place when they are getting their horses trimmed and getting a different farriers opinion helps open up your veiws and guidlines for what to expect. then simply telling him, farreirs are used to it, and he might even reccomend someone else if you ask.

Really looks like you need different farrier. Ask for references, or ask stables/trainers in your area and find out who they use. Also, I would suggest watching hoof-trimming videos. Becoming familiarized with what good farrier work looks like can help you with farrier choices in the future. I enjoy watching Olsen Equine CJF, Idaho Horseshoeing School, and Caleb Erickson 3 crosses Farrier Co. on Youtube.
