Before I moved, I was called to come back and assist in teaching a couple of the courses. I didn't have to speak or anything, but they'd come to me for help on assignments. I'd have lost it if I caught students fighting each other.

I have a few friends like that in other classes, but no-one like that in this class, I'm a junior in a class of tight knit seniors so I didn't really get a choice to be picky

Thankfully this other girl was as quiet and shy as I was, lol. But she got a couple of good grades, I got a couple of good grades, and there came a mutual understanding of we both cared about the class. So we took care of each other. :)

@Wolf, I had a teacher tell me the same thing in middle school, that I HAD to have a partner. Then my Mom got involved and told her my daughter either does this assignment alone or not at all. XD

Typically that's what I do as well, I always get taken advantage of but this was a project that you had to have a partner for otherwise you wouldn't get full credit. But now I have to do it alone since the cirumstances changed. But it means I need to change the whole plan >>

Every time I share notes with other students they never share their notes back. So, I have also stopped doing that.

Went through all of college and still kept the same mindset... Although I did trade notes with one girl on numerous occasions. She'd borrow my journal and put sticky notes of stuff I missed, and I'd borrow her textbook and highlight/write sticky notes of what she missed. We're good friends to this day.

I was always an "assignment loner" when it comes to school, lol. I dealt with someone like her once, was crazy mad, and decided I only ever wanted to rely on myself- even if it made the workload bigger. I figured, the benefit of doing a two person assignment alone, meant I learned more. :)

Well, my partner for a group project didn't want to help plan a lesson plan for a leadership activity next week, and left it all to me... She literally dropped the class and took another one so I have to do this project all by myself... I'm so mad at her, this is the same girl who made me do the a whole marking research 8 page paper by myself, promised to do the slideshow to present but messed up the slideshow so we basically failed the in person presentation part and only got a 76 on the assignment, I'm so done with her and I'm honestly so glad she's dropping out.
