07:52:47 Void Malign snails, shrimp, and detritus worms are the tank cleanup crew |
07:52:07 Prag/Liz Versa - two words, assassin snails lol |
07:52:05 Versa Oh they're helpful? But the population, my childhood tank (that my parents owned) had them completely out of control, according to them. How does one work with that? I'm less against them if they're good |
07:51:07 Versa Charm, Hmmm... I mean, I understand they're so beneficial. I guess my question comes down to, snail control. My heart is a little too soft to squish them. I'd seriously rather manually keep the water in check every night than squish them lol |
07:51:06 DD (#2) I remember I had this awesome little 5 gallon tank, it's a ton of work, but live plants/snails are awesome |
07:50:54 A fish tank would be more practical and cheaper than a snake right now. Plus I want to move out and a snake would make that hard. |
07:50:44 Charm/Charmie Snails are good! I used to hate them, but I love them now lol |
07:50:37 Prag/Liz They take some maintenance like any pet, but a larger tank with a betta and a few plants has always been pretty low difficulty in my experience as far as pets go. |
07:50:10 Versa Revel, the worst part is keeping water parameters in check. Feeding the fish itself, is very simple. Everything sounds basic. But the water parameters getting off can be troubling, sometimes |
07:50:10 @Charm, don't you have to replant it every 1-2 years though? |
07:49:52 Void Malign I prefer live plants since they're part of the filtering/oxygen system |
07:49:39 Charm/Charmie I recommend doing a heavily planted tank first, letting it mature a month or so, and then adding a betta! The plants help the water quality a TON. And real plants are so much better than fake ones for bettas! |
07:49:28 Maybe I am overthinking how difficult a fish tank is. |
07:49:24 Lyssa Saddle or no? -HEE Click- |
07:49:14 Prag/Liz I have found live plants to be super easy in aquariums as long as you have adequate light. |
07:49:09 Void Malign Just get appropriately bright LED lights lol |
07:48:57 Versa Revel, I'd do live plants if the snails didn't bother me. I do silk, lol |
07:48:49 Glacier cats Great, now I am thinking about my birthday, which I would rather not think about |
07:48:36 That is the other thing that scares me, killing the plants in the aquarium. |
07:48:15 @Versa, would you do live plants? |

I'm back, this time with 3 horses, eager to know which of the 3 is the strongest and weakest. I'm looking at their training only, as their foals did not have their week 3-4 yet but they all had the E where they needed it to be. Here I'm mainly curious to find out about whether week 3+7 is more important or week 4+12 https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=19940712

*Edit: something went horribly wrong when I tried to put the training even though I pressed remove code. Sorry for not listing the training here. Edited at October 18, 2019 10:57 AM by HRS

I would say the second one is weakest. The first and third are hard to compare based on training alone and I would say they are about the same.
