Okay, so I don't understand these things, could somone help me? I've been trying to learn them before RO. I have been focusing on showing lately but I feel like I haven't earned much of a profit so I'm needing help. 1) How many horses are needed to make a profit? I currently have 13 show-ready geldings and lots in training but they are still in Levels 1 or 2. Will that make a profit? 2) How do you track trianing? I've been trying to learn and do it to my new foals in RO but I'm still horrible at it. 3) How do you match horses? I'm still very very new to the system. 4) Other ways to make more money?

1. I own 1000+ geldings and manage to keep a comfortable amount in the bank, so for anyone wanting to make serious profit, I'd recommend 500+ geldings. You can start small and grow the army as you go 2. Each week, horses will gain bars in the training gauge on their page. They will start gaining bars at week 4, some horses even at week 3 which is extremely rare, so starting at week 4 you track the bars that go up. Since horses start with 1 bar at each level, week 4 would look something like: 211211, meaning the horse gained one a bar in movement and scope. You're basically counting the number of bars the horse has for each trait, week by week. 3. If one horse is weak in scope, the other should be strong in it. If one horse is strong in movement, you don't have to worry if the other horse is weak in it. It's basically just matching up the sire and dams training so they even each other out and between the two there are no prominent weaknesses. 4. Showing is the main way, and the next main way is to have a high ABLB stud or mare to have constant income. Showing will lead to money which allows you to breed better horses, so it really all starts with showing and will hopefully lead to stronger horses with more quality matches over time.

1) the amount of show horses (all horses can show, not only geldings) depends on your spendings. SD breeding is cheaper than AD breeding, some breeds are cheaper than others, etc. I'd recommend at least 100 show horses if this is your main source of income. A show horse ready to show they will make you an income at any show level. The amount of ebs you get increases with the show horses' level. 2) Like Idle Lane explained. There are several good tutorials in the guides section. Personally I don't invest the time tracking my show horses, but I know other players do. 3) In principal you try to compensate your horses weaknesses by matching it with a horse that is strong where your horse is weak. So if your horse is weak in hrt you find a horse strong in it. 4) I make around 200k by selling hay. However it's expensive to start off as you need to buy pastures first. A quick way to make some extra ebs when you've just started is to do the mini games. Especially with the genetic practice game you can make up to 5k each day. I tracked my earnings by that game for a month and I'd made over 100k in total.

I'm lazy and not going through all of this but if you arent hitting the show cap show lv 1 and 2 horses too. Idk where the myth came from that they dont make money...they just make less than higher level horses...profit is profit especially as a smaller stable. However, just make sure they have at least 5 or so training sessions per level to be ready to show. And yes, show everything.
