10:52:05 Trigger 🐾 I have a whole room dedicated to my snakes. They are my scaly babies. |
10:51:09 Trigger 🐾 Ven I am adding that to my bag of tricks for some of these bio parents who text me out of the blue in all caps. |
10:50:27 Blue/K.K/FHANA16 Asfa We can team up and collab on the book about our moms... |
10:50:25 Green|Gren|Grenlin Its a dream to own a little something in the woods away from noise with my animal babies, not a lot of people are cool with reptile. Which is odd since they are quite (mostly) and take up minimum on my en like 5 feet of space |
10:49:55 Ven You can use caps at me all you'd like, but if I could find a place to live in New York City for that price, I'm willing to bet there are housing options |
10:49:05 Blue/K.K/FHANA16 Ven, Asfa CAN'T AFFORD to find a place for her and her cats... |
10:48:49 Asfa I could write a novel with all the horrible things she's done... and let me tell you this house isn't worth 400. The pool is breaking down and the pump is dead, paint is peeling everywhere, drains are blocked, the ducted doesn't work, the extraction fan is jammed, the shutters don't open, the stove doesn't work, one door doesn't close, the security doors are about as strong as paper... it goes on. |
10:48:22 Blue/K.K/FHANA16 Asfa, I am so so so sorry. |
10:48:02 Trigger 🐾 Yeah that is not ok. I would be upset myself. |
10:47:30 Ven Keep your 400 a week and get a place for 1600 a month |
10:47:05 Myth/Crowley/Grinch Asfa I'd loose it if I had to part with my fur babies. I'm sorry your gping through this. |
10:46:39 Ven She charges you 400 a week for living in her house, and she's your mother? And she's now telling you to get rid of cats you've had for years? What a bitch. |
10:45:35 Asfa So for context, I'm aussie... I'm on centrelink, I pay $400 a week for rent. There are no cheaper houses around to rent... I've searched hard. I'm in no position to buy a house, though I won't lie I've been popping some lotto tickets for the faintest glimmer of hope... I want to get away from her, more than anything, but I'm stuck. |
10:45:14 Trigger 🐾 And I did not make much money then as I do now. It is paid off, and I just pay the utilities on it. |
10:44:20 Blue/K.K/FHANA16 Asfa, You can message me anytime.... mine isn't very kind either... she is my adoptive mom.... |
10:44:07 Trigger 🐾 That is why I bought my home in 2018. I would not leave my dogs behind. |
10:43:26 Ven He's now eleven and my boyfriend is my husband and we're on Long Island with a fenced yard for Thor |
10:43:10 Blue/K.K/FHANA16 why not find a place to live that allows pets? |
10:42:42 Ven When I moved from upstate to NYC, I couldn't bring my pair of ferrets because they're illegal in the city, but at least my mother was able to keep them, and she had experience as a ferret owner. Finding a dog-friendly apartment we could afford in the city was hell, but I told my then-boyfriend I wasn't going without my dog. So he went. Leaving him was not an option |

I have a bunch of foals who I'm triaining AD but they are assigned to an SD rider. Will this affect the speed of their training or does it only matter for shows? - Update: What counts as a good rarity for color breeders? Under 1000? 500? 100? I acidently bought a S/P/S stallion that is 1 in 261 and a S/P/P mare that is 1 in 59 and I'm wondering if that would be enough to interest people in breedings? Just wondering because I'm new and have heard it's better to work on showing first. Edited at August 16, 2023 08:47 AM by Wild Wind Stables

No, it does not affect any training or showing! SD riders will probably level up faster than the horse - so with higher leveled riders and more experienced riders the AD trained horses "might" even have a very very small advantage ;)
