1.) He's Elite bravery which made me wonder, can you capture a Worldclass horse? Or are those only in Adam's Auctions? 2.) He's CR 1/71 but he's also Frame - I'm not sure how big a deal Frame in game for studs yet. Would I be better off gelding him and capturing another barn stud? 3.) More of a general question but is there an advice thread for starting your own breeding line from scratch? I'm not even entirely sure what the market is yet.

Ok so I can answer only the first question (I'm not sure about the other two) but yes, I have for example captured a World Class bravery mare, but on capture day, (A day when there is more chance to get a higher rated horse) On other days, it will be really hard to get one. But yea, I guess so!

Frame is nice, but with his rating he isn't of any real value. I'm not sure about a thread but you can always search it up using the search topics feature at the bottom of the forums page. Breeding up from scratch is extremely expensive and will take a long time, so make sure you have a good amount of income or a looooot of patience and are okay with not making fast progress if you're using lower rated studs and mares.

I've been trying to breed up from EEE and it's taking a while. From SSS it would be much, much longer. My advice (if you're intent on having your own stud) would be to find a rated stud to buy that has at least 2 E's (preferably EEE). You can buy a yearling or 2-year-old if you don't want them to already have foals. Then buy the best EE+ mares you can afford. EEE boys are available pretty cheap, but there are also WWW boys out there for cheap or even free to use to improve your stock. Don't be stuck on in-house breeding. Frame is a concern if you breed a horse to another frame or a white horse. You have a 25% chance of the foal dying before it's born (it's a real thing called Lethal White Overo Syndrome). In the game it takes up a foal slot and you get nothing. Bravery is a fun money-sink, but it doesn't affect your horses in any practical way. It doesn't make them show better or breed better ratings. You have to bravery rate if you want into the Horse of the Year competition, but otherwise it's just for fun (and leaderboards). BTW, this is a side account I accidentally posted from. My main account is 9 months old and only one single W foal to show for it, even using WWW studs. Breeding up isn't for the faint of heart. Edited at June 9, 2024 07:34 AM by Palm Harbor

There is a very good, but very old game guide posted on Weebly by a former player named Hyrim Canyon. He covers the basics of starting a stable and establishing a breeding line. It's from 2016, back when EEE was the highest rating (world class was added later). I've been using his tips to try to establish my stable of RID frames. https://hyrimcanyon.weebly.com/game-tips.html
