Hello, I was noticing there aren't many Appendix horses as compared to the other breds on this game. Like I just got done pursuing the Adams Auction, I noticed the game is more ISH/SH heavy Is that because there isn't much interest in Appendix? Is it because they aren't as colorful as the other breeds or are they just to hard to bred for good ratings? Just curious because I want to specialize in Appendix

Adams Auctions are previously owned horses from players. SH/ISH are just the most "sold off". I'm not an X breeder, but there is interest, greater than ISH, and some color. If you want to go into X, I'd go into a "direct buy" situation than auctions.

SH and ISH are majority because they are crossbreds is my guess? Sometimes two horses of same breed are matched and still produces a SH because certain credits are not met. I think it is a good thing so you have a bit more challenge if you wish to breed a certain breed. As some colors will kick them out of the studbook. But on the other hand, it creates also so much SH and ISH that people loose interest to be selective and critical and just breed to achieve a high rating. If you feel like there arent much Apendix horses around, it might be a fun thing to try change that. I try to keep it to breed horses from a certain studbook, but sometimes a foal gets a color that is not recognised. Happens a lot with the Knappstrupers for example.

Ah. Thank you! Yeah I was curious. Yes I definitely am still going to go for forward with the appendix horses. I was wondering if SH and ISH are so more common because it is easier to get an a world class foal, Badger Meadows said: SH and ISH are majority because they are crossbreds is my guess? Another factor to ISH and SH being in higher numbers is that some of the other breeds were only added to the game later, so are less developped than ISH and SH which I believe were part of the initial breeds when the game first started. Though I'm not sure exactly when the others were released... That's all before my time. To my knowlege, the only breed that's harder is KNN because you need to manage the Leopard Complex genes, or the foal will become a SH, even if both parents are KNN.
