Okay guys. I don't get this "explore" thing. Or the round pen training.
I've gone through with q few of my horses and I've noticed that there are some horses that it says have "sub-par" bravery, but they rarely spook.
Today I rode a horse and for the first time I got a horse with "premium" bravery! But this horse spooked at EVERY opportunity, and I was completely unable to find whether nudge/spur/stick worked best because he literally spooked every time lol.
Also, the round pen training doesn't seem to be making any difference. Is it supposed to actually change, say, a sub-par bravery horse to a superb bravery horse? How much training does that usually take?
When horses reach 100% training, what happens?
thanks! Last time I played we did not have this and I couldn't find a lot of info on it.

Part of the issue is that a horse's morale affects spooking. A horse with high morale will not spook much, even if it has a low rating. A horse with low moral will spook more, even if it has a high rating.
I can't tell if there's any pattern that determines what morale the horse starts with. For all I know, it's random. But when a horse spooks, the morale for that session drops. If it doesn't spook, it's morale for that session goes up.
Rpen training does not change the horse's rating. On the horse's page, you will see a percentage besides its rating. That is the percent of training complete. A horse with 100% training should stand still more for pictures.
