I don't think we have one, we used to, before we moved, but we are still unpacking and don't have it out yet. I appreciate your concern though <3

And Wolf, please do tell your teachers. If it's still the same as when I was teaching they HAVE to try and get you medical help.

Be safe Wolf and hopefully it isn't a concussion but if the symptoms persist tomorrow I would definitely go to the doctor

I could call your landline if you have one. That's one way to get your parents' attention.

I'll just tell my teachers and explain what happened, and that I think I may have a concussion but am unsure

I told my doctor at the time I was pretty sure I had a concussion because I had all the symptoms that I was trained to look for. She did the neuro exam as well as an x-ray on my neck because I've been hit in the back of the head / neck and it turned out I had a reverse of the cervical curve on top of the concussion.

Well I have to go the light from the computer is starting to hurt, I'm going to set my alarm clock, and hopefully it's just dehydration, but I'm not going to knock the concussion out of the way

The calling wouldn't be a bad idea however your eyes may still dilate normally even when concussed. A doctor will normally perform a neurological exam such as balance, focus and just general movement to determine if you have a concussion. CTS and MRIs won't show anything unfortunately

That was my first and hopefully last concussion but I had issues with speech and reading for several months after I recovered. I was slurring or mispronouncing words during recovery and for a few months after that until I can get back to reading regularly

True, I think I'm going to try and get some sleep but set my alarm clock since it's extremely loud and I could hear it in my sisters room when it went off in the middle of the night with her one time, and I'll just set it for every hour >.>

I can't speak for Fawn, Wolf, but I am concerned enough to offer to call you every two hours tonight to wake you up, but without someone to check your eyes it may not be helpful. Fawn, thoughts?

It could be that but you did say that you got hit in the head yesterday and since you've had concussions in the past I wouldn't rule it out because you don't have to be hit hard or pass out to be concussed
Wolf Dancer

I'm also not sure if it's a concussion though it could just be I didn't drink enough water when we were hauling tons of brush yesterday, and burning it, so it could be that as well

And unfortunately recovery time varies but the more concussions you suffer the longer it takes to heal.

so I just bred my PPE mare with a an EEE stallion, and the foal is SSS. How does this work?

How do I get PEE/EE foals?

thanks.

This probably wont work but i'll try to insert the foal here -

Foals are a combination of the sire and dam's weaknesses and strengths, plus a random factor that can swing in either direction, making the foal stronger or weaker. EEE x PPE producing SSS is unfortunate, but not unheard of. Make sure you are matching the strengths/weaknesses properly, and using good breeding stock - horses that consistently produce their own ratings or better. :)

Unfortunately the dam isn't the best producer. She's got several SSP and SPP combos in her breeding history and has never produced anything better than herself. As her training isn't tracked you can't match her properly. As far as one can tell from her training bars, she seems to have similar weaknesses as the stud. All these factors combined with random factor not being on your side resulted in the foal.

After that SSS would probably not breed her anymore.

Considering you paid 10k for her, I would keep and show and brood her out. She's decently levelled so she could make some nice income.

Regarding the tracking.
Each week you can train your horses once and that's how the stats and the level go up.
When you need to figure out the strengths and the weaknesses of the horse, you have to train them in all disciplines.
Foals start with no bars at all, but then at week 4 and specially at week 5, their bars start to go up. Naturally, the more and the earlier you have bars up, the stronger the horse is likely to be (careful, horse can still be a bad producer even with good training).
So, if your horse gets some bars up on week 4, what is done, is note it down on the remarks. Bar that goes up = strong.
Then at week 5 is when they tend to show weaknesses cause you see all the bars going up except maybe 1 or 2, even 3. That means the horse is weak there.
So basically, you go doing that every week that you train. You see if something has changed.

Let me put you an example:
https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=18620248

This fella is on week 8. Week 8 tends to be better reference on strengths than week 4.
If you look at the bars, you see the one that is up is Scope, that's his strong point.
Now, if you look at his remarks at the bottom, I have written down how he has been levelling. As you see, week 8 is 222322. I simply counted the bars on each trait and wrote them down.
Then, I also like to put
Strong:
Weak:
So when the horses show their strengths and weaknesses I put it there and is easier to match. Some horses take time to show their strengths/weaknesses so just keep tracking that. They can even change so keep an eye on it.
