If you are accepting more than just the first good offer, you are running an auction, and it needs to go in the auction area. Auctions placed in the sales area will be moved to the appropriate forum. Thanks!
Basically, if people are bidding higher, it is an auction. If you are posting a horse that is for a set price OR if you are haggling with a single person, it fits into sales. If you are accepting the first decent offer, it can go in sales. The first decent offer could be in EBs, art, trade, whatever you are willing to accept.
What ends up happening is people are fishing for offers and then let people keep bidding over and over, which is an auction. It clogs up the sales boards. :)
EXAMPLES OF SALES:
Horse on sale for a set price, public sale Horse on sale for a set price, willing to accept lower offers Looking for the first good offer Looking for an offer, got an offer lower than what you wanted, and saying "Can you go 10k higher?"
EXAMPLES OF AUCTIONS:
Game auctions Forum auctions ANYTHING where more than one person makes an offer on the same horse with the price going higher on each offer
