I'm nervous the bluebirds I was watching won't come back. I haven't seen them since the snow started.

@Versa, my goal is to have enough money saved by December or January. Can't decide between a corn snake or ball python though!

Revel,
As long as it gets enough care, which with you I'm sure it will- you can realistically get just about any reptile that interests you. :)

@Versa, while researching them there was a lot of mixed info about the correct substrate. They are cute, but I think I would prefer to get a snake instead because they interest me more.

Revel,
A mix of 70% top soil (no added fertilizers or anything) and 30% play sand. It's the only thing safe enough, but they must always be fed within a bowl or from tongs while over substrate to avoid ingesting of it

@Versa, what kind of substrate do you use for your leo?

My Moth Experience happened at the same time I wound up hospitalized for several weeks so the poor little guys didn't get enough humidity while they were pupating. I've been thinking about trying again down the line since I still have all the supplies lol

It was. But they're amazing moths. They pollinate further than even the bees to. Will always recommend attempting to raise them when they get too big, excellent for someone else's garden when you set it free in yours.

Revel,
When it comes to leos, it highly depends on the personality. I had a few that were scared, I had one that was defensive (made me bleed once). And I've had multiple that have been exceedingly friendly. I've rescued and rehomed all but one, who is my blind lady.

The first one that hatched horrified me. It woke me up by skittering around in the middle of the night. I thought it was a cat. Turned on my flashlight, went to the bucket that these moths were raised in, and these two EYES just reflected vividly back up at me. I hadn't been expecting it. Legit fell backwards. LOL

Back when I was first looking into getting a pet reptile a lot of people recommended getting a leopard gecko, but my brother used to have one and it seemed kind of boring... It would hide all day. I want a reptile you can see at least sometimes!

OH! I did actually successfully raise three hawkmoths from some worms that got too big for my geckos to eat at the time. They were obsessed with my butterfly bushes, saw them for days on end

Angel,
Would you be willing to PM it to me? I'm usually off and on in chat and I fear not seeing lol

Just what the ad says, looking for S+ in any discipline. No schoolmasters or high levels please, looking for young stock that will last me a long time without huge rider bills at the start :)

Hi! I have a few geldings in my pasture -- they are 5 years old, though, so if you're looking for anything younger I'm sorry.

Does it matter if they are SD (E rated in their discipline) colts/geldings?
If that doesn't matter I have a few left over geldings from this year's breeding and if you are looking next RO I'm sure I will also have plenty!

As long as they are S+ in any discipline and a gelding or colt I'll take them - I'm buying some E rejects after RO from Columet but I'd love to buy from you too if I'm still needing more after that 😊

I have tons of yearling geldings! They start at $700 each, but price could go lower depending on how many you buy. I have mainly PPPs but also SPPs, E SD, and fillies if interested. I've got a few W SD stallions I'd let go for cheap too.
They will all be set free tomorrow!
