We spent one night in Cheyenne, and when we went outside the next morning to go, winds were 70 mph sustained with higher gusts. My sis was not impressed. Lolz. I was like “I LOVE IT OUT HERE!”
When I was helping my sister move out to Utah and we did that road trip from North Carolina to UtahÂ… We spent an extra day hanging out on that rocky mountain front area and dang those winds are serious!
100 mph winds are bad! We have had some pretty bad when the storms over the past two winters with 60 to 80 mph sustained winds and that was bad enough! But overall IÂ’m really enjoying living in the Bluegrass for the past three years. So many fun horsey things to do all so close by.
Anywho. I have to go to work because after work I have to make the five hour trip to go see MY parents for the weekend. Hopefully getting a hydroponic system and a bunch of vegetable seeds, plus I didn't tell my mom I'm coming so she'll be excited
Yeah. Normally, I'll pack up and head over if we have a severe thunderstorm warning that's clocked at over 55-60mph winds. Typically, tornadic storms are going to have that sort of warning attached to them, so I'm usually already there.
