Fancy Pony Progress: Had to change out my grey midtone for a sepia as I accidently switched my shading swatches up and ruined my highlights layer at one point. Re-did the majority of the highlights and I'm still not done with those... |

While I hate putting off one order for another, I was feeling terrible I hadn't gotten these started sooner... Pegasus order that I may have overworked the lines on... Legs are going to be feathered so I'm not too concerned about the hooves, but I'm not happy with how some parts 'mesh together'. Green wing is to the viewer and blue wing will be behind the body. Those need some tweaking before I start lining them...  And a Draft Mule! Loving the chonk butt on this one. I'm going to adjust the face some and then I think it'll be ready for greyscaling. And last but not least: I have some good news/bad news. Good News! I have a job interview in a few days! Bad News: If I get the job I'll have less time for art and my progress report pics may take even longer... I try to get one up once a week to keep myself on track. I'm hoping to keep you guys updated in a timely manner, though forgive as I'm only human and humans are notoriously bad at a lot of things. |

Fancy Pony: More shading, nothing terribly exciting with this update. Pegasus: Lots of excitement with this one; I've been trying different wing sizes/angles to get something that felt natural. I wanted it to feel like the wings made sense from a weight capacity perspective which is why they're pretty chunky especially at the shoulder. Also the 'shading' on the feathers is just me experimenting, not sure if I like that look yet. O the job front: The interview went very well and I'll be interviewing again with the business owner before I'm told if I get the job. |

It doesn't look like I'll have any art updates this week, I've been struggling with migraines the past few days and I have some real life stuff I'm juggling as well. Update on the job front though, the second interview went really well and I was told there was only one other candidate, so the odds are pretty good that I'll get the job, but I won't know for sure for a few days yet. **Edit** I got the job!!!! I'll be cramming as much art as I can into the week I have before I start so check back soon for even more updates! |
