I don't mind helping out, but when I do most of everything by myself, then t gets tiring. I do dishes every night; my aunt's, uncle's, mom's, dad's, cousins, so forth. I can be lenient with my parents, they work from 7/8 AM to 5/5:30 PM, don't get home till 6:30. Same as my aunt; works from 5/6/7 PM, doesn't get home till 1/2/3 AM.

But still, there's other kids here who can do shit around the house. Then my one cousin, 11, is in the same school as me, and she's falling behind. Literally. And expects me to do her schoolwork for her, as I, foolishly, have in the past.

It's tiring, and draining. My parents speak up, and nothing changes. My brother has a full on tantrum when he's told he can't play games when he doesn't do as told. Literally.

be proud of yourself that you have the rare disappearing trait of self taught responsibility. I did the same for my family at a young age. My mom appreciated the help.

Okay, bit of a vent here.

I have a brother who goes to public school. He gets up around 6/6:30 in the morning. I do not go to public school.

It's been too cold for the dog to stay outside all day, so he needs to be walked every two, three hours. I do that while my brother is in school. I took said dog out last night, around 6/6:30. I came out at around 10-ish to get dishes done (cause nobody else would do it-_-). I had assumed my brother would walk the dog, but nope. Now, mind you, I have 6 classes a day to do, and I still manage to do household tasks, and walk the dog.

This morning, my grandmother got me and him up, and told us to walk the dog. Said was gonna call the pound for him being 'mistreated'. Like, bitch, he's fed, watered, walked, so forth. I was already in an agitated mood, and waved her off. She says this shit all the time, it never happens.

So, gotta ask. Am I an asshole for being annoyed? And why do I have to be up that early, when I do what I need to do?

My E mares I set aside the WK3 mares, all other mares have to be up all WK4 and WK7.

As the whole herd improves I will tighten requirements. For now I'm just taking it slow with my stock. This way I can get color in, increase my geldings, etc. It works well enough for me. I already have a few LB mares and potentials gracing my stables now.

Played with the lighting, first time drawing glow markings by hand! Super proud of this, a version with an outline can be found here.

Another ABed art piece! I tried some body prep techniques, namely using the dodge/burn tools on the body and painting the eye. The bridle and martingale also got painted over, so I'm quite proud of this!

Again, fairly proud of this one due to the mild colour change (patches) and the position.

Heya everyone! https://unsplash.com/photos/SDsosT_RRPk

Long time no see on this thread. You may have seen a couple art auctions popping up here and then, but of course I don't remember I have this gallery *internal headdesk* Anyways. Quite a lot has happened with my art journey - I'll try to fill you in in a short paragraph.

First of all, I've finally made the switch from Pixlr E to Ibis X Paint! This has really helped me to grow and develop as an artist, as well as try out new technques I wouldn't have been able to on Pixlr. I also think I'm getting to the stage where I'm ready to open up an art shop once again - you may remember that I closed my tier three one early 2020, promising myself that I would only reopen once I could do it in tier 2. I think that time has finally arrived! I'll be auctioning off some custom slots to get an accurate guage on pricing, so keep an eye out for them ;)

Big art dump coming in the next post, beware of your browsers xD
