Alright, HEE isnt the place to run to when these things happen, but im not looking for help. Just to talk about this! Odd experience. Not for me, although things have happened to me, this is about my S/O. Im not one to freak about these things, as they can get mixed up.. but this was just too odd. - Alright.. so my S/O gets up, and drives to the neighborhood gym at about 11:30 PM. He has always gone late, as hes like me. We both hate working out in front of people. We like being alone when we work out. I know some people can relate. We do not have anything to use at home. He gets to the gym, he walks in, and theres only one other person there.. not a big deal at a, so he starts working out. This guy approaches him, asks him for my S/Os name.. My S/O gives him his first name (Nick name). The guy thanks him for putting the dumbbells back in place, and says he works there.. note, at this time, it was about 12:30-1:00 AM.. he got a good workout in before this guy approached him. Hes never seen this guy before, so figured hes new. Out of no where, he just starts playing this creepy music box music on his phone out loud.. once it stops, he says my S/Os name in this really low voice, but just enough to where he can hear him. My S/O responds, and asks him what he wants. This man stares at him, and completely ignores him. So he asks again, what he wants. The man does the same creepy crap. By this point, (I am on the phone with my boyfriend) I oddly get a vision of what this man looks like in my head, and the gum scenery. Everything.. I describe it to my boyfriend.. and he says I got every detail right.. This man stops everything hes doing, and just stands, and stares at my S/O.. I immediately (without knowing everything that the man is doing in this exact moment (staring at him and not breaking contact), tell him to just get out of the gym. I start crying, and get an eerie feeling with an ear ringing in my left ear. Yes, that is important. Why? No clue. 😂 But anyways, my ear rings, I start randomly crying. The tears just start flowing out of control. Im not upset, I was reading peotry, and my eyes were not watery. 🤦🏼♀️ Like a literal River, they just start falling.. After I tell him to leave, of course, he understands and leaves.. The man starts watching him out the gun window as he is leaving. The entire way there, he doesnt look away from him. He cussed under his breathe when he walked out the door as well. Well, he gets home, everythings peachy, and this car pulls into his drive. The same exact man gets out, and starts taking pictures of his house. Eventually after 10 minutes of us being unsettled not knowing if he shouldve actually called the cops or not.. the man leaves. Everyone is ok, just super unsettled. The cops were eventually called, I dont know of much else. Just thought tho was a pretty interesting story to share. Please, be careful, all.. The world is very unpredictable. Might I add.. said S/O is a 250 pound senior body builder.. Not the most approachable guy, lol. |

ooh that sounds like a funny experience, foggy! people are weird. But the strange and amazing thing is that you could see exactly what was happening down the line. I'm not sure if your in to metaphysical spiritual stuff but a ringing in the ear at a time like that is said to mean there is a malevolent person nearby. People also say it means your "spirit guides" are trying to warn your or help you. but again, not sure if you are in to that kind of stuff. just thought it could be interesting! |

May I recommend the Magnus Archives, episode 90? You don't have to listen to the entire podcast (though you should!) to understand what's going on in a singular episode, but it's perfectly creepy and takes place in a gym as well. Hope y'all are ok! That is so freaking creepy. |

Okay I worked security for 22 years before I retired from that line of work, and I can say I have seen and heard a lot of crazy stuff. I can tell you right off the bat that is not normal behaviour on what that guy was doing to your S/O. The guy who followed your S/O was more than likely up to no good. Taking pictures of the house is also a big warning signal to me about something bad. You having visions was telling you something isn't right and there was possible danger. Becuase this guy followed your S/O and took pictures of his house, both of you need to be on the look out for this guy again since he may try something again (I say may, but it could just be a one off thing). Also since he told your S/O he worked at the gym, why would he leave his job to follow your S/O home? I could be reading more into this than there is, but again 22 years of doing security work and working with cops when the shit hit the fan at the sites I worked at.... you get the idea. My advice to you and your S/O is to always park in a well lit area, always be aware of your surroundings, note quick routes of escape or places to hide, if possible go to the gym together to watch each others back, and enroll in a good self defense class. I won't recoomend going armed, since that's a personal decision, but if you go that route make sure you follow all your local laws reguarding that. Again doing security for 22 years probably has me a touch wary of things in the world now. |

I actually am a touch into spiritual things! A little more on the Native side than anything. :) It was a super weird encounter!

We always try our best to be cautious everywhere we go. I have brass knuckles in my car. I never take them out. Its legal here in Texas, but they dont do much help in the car. 😂 Im more on the cautious side than him, but I try my best! |

Brass knuckes unless in a private collection and never used are illegal where I'm from originally, but I have a set in my weapons collection same with some big bladed knives that are illegal to carry unless it's hunting season. I always carry a blade on me, my best friend always carries a fire arm. I also tend to carry a brick in my handbag when I'm going to a place I'm not to familiar with. Blunt force trauma in the right area will take someone down in a heartbeat. Car keys are also a good weapon when needed. In my former line of work well yeah I'm a bit paranoid at times lol. |
