So I reccently was gifted/given a breyer who is really beat up, needs a lot of love, i.e, sanding, painting, priming? I'm not quite sure what to do and was wondering if any of you had any advice?
The horse I have is Old Timer, and I would like to re-paint him to something that is not grey. Any advice, remodels you've done? Do's and dont's?

WHEN I did remodels, I used Marine Putty/Epoxy (PC-11) to repair broken or missing parts and a Dremel to sand & shape.
I used acrylic Citadel Paints (any hobby shop or online) to paint them starting with an acrylic base coat with spray paint.
I'd show you my masterpiece, except he drastically needs redone again lol
