Tylenol, drink lots of water, avoid bright lights and screens If it is related to a cold then maybe try taking a hot steamy shower

I sure hope your headache is gone by now (or at least has eased up some)... How it is treated will be dependent on what is causing it (if you know).. For a basic headache I will just take Tylenol. When I get a headache that you feel in the back of your neck or your temples feel like they are pulsing... I will take the Tylenol (or Exedrin Migrane) and I will take a 5hr energy shot with it or some sort of high caffiene. I have had a migrane at work and my method was not working fast enough and I had a co-worker who said to come see him he had something that should help... I went back to see him and he had White Flower Analgesic Oil Drops this and he rubbed a drop of it on my temples and behind my ears and on the base of my neck... it smelled very nice.. and it tingled a tiny bit... but within 15 to 20 minutes.. I had started to feel much better... I would reccomend a bottle of it.. It actually has MANY more uses than just for headaches... Other than those options if you are congested and it is causing your headache.. maybe nettie pot or simply saline to flush out the stuff that is causing the sinus pressures... in addition to the Tylenol or medicine of choice (different things work better for different people)... stay hydrated, Sleep if you can, rest your eyes, cool compress over your eyes, heating pad back of the neck... just things to try to make you feel a bit better... Lavender Oil or leaves by itself is also suppose to help. (it also promotes relaxation and rest). Good luck.. hope you feel better and that something might help.

I discovered the source of my life long occasional headaches and migranes in my 60s! It was 'delayed allergic reaction'. So instead of wheezing/asthma I was allergic and got headaches. I take cheap antihistamines and rarely suffer a headache since, and no migranes at all. If you are not taking a daily non drowsey antihistamine, then these just might help. Lavender perfume helps too. Edited at November 3, 2024 08:53 AM by ZeroZero

Thank you all so much for taking the time to suggest some ideas, I really appreciate it. I am feeling a little better today, hoping it doesn't come back. I will definitely be keeping these in mind if it comes back and for future headaches Thank you again <3
