So, I was just chatting with a friend and I was telling her about how when I was little I wanted to be an Olympic dressage rider but I've realized there are so many reasons that would never happen and she was like "wait that's in the Olympics?" and I'm like yeah it's a sport and she was like "But you just sit there" and that pissed me off but I didn’t really know how to respond to that so I just glared at her. Anyways what would you have done?
Take it as a compliment; part of dressage is looking like you're just sitting there, it means you're doing something right xD and just keep it in your mind that she probably wouldn't survive a trot LOL
Whenever anyone says that we just sit there, I thank them! That means we're doing our job right if it looks effortless. Whenever someone tells me it isn't a sport, I ask them why it's in the Olympics and football isn't then, and that maybe we shouldn't consider football a sport lol.
Castle, love that response. I am naturally good at pissing people off (middle school was tough with that skill) so I'd just tell them to try it themselves and that might show them. Also big on glaring at people lol.
