Right? They think you have food and they're like, "Excuse me, miss, this road has a tax. :)" . Excellent little birds, though! <3

British bird watch weekend coming up next weekend, 24 or 25 or 26 th Jan. 1hour watching your garden and report all birds arriving in your garden during that 1 hour via link. Run by the RSPB. British gardens only (gosh I'd love to report a humming bird). A community science survey running for many years now. Edited at January 20, 2025 05:15 PM by ZeroZero

Well, very loosely. I am no serious twitcher. But have been lucky over the years and blessed with very good eyesight. Bit fixated with hummingbirds.

If you express interest in birds, you fit right into the list <3 I've actually got multiple hummingbird feeders myself. Cannot have them out in the winter, but hopefully in Tennessee. :)

Woodpeckers are little rascals, Leafpool. But they're quite interesting, too, when you start to research them! :) Cute, with the robins! <3 They're one of my favourites. I had one pair who came back every year and reused their nest in one of my trees. Also had a pair who would nest in my birdhouse. Excited to get the cameras in there!
