Pretty Pony Pageant August Show Class List ∴ Realistic Classes ∴ Cross Country Training
Senior Party
✸ Pony Club ✸ ∴ Theme Classes ∴ 🗺 International Celebration 🌏 🌺 Flower Festival 💐 The Cross Country, Training, Senior Party, and Pony Club classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel! (remember, if you are chosen for this week's judges panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes) Cross Country Where the Bravery, Courage, and Heart of the horse are truly tested as they must overcome challenging natural obstacles - soar over wide ditches, leap into a pond from a steep bank, and jump through skinny hedge fences. But the Cross Country field also demands great Agility, never-ending Stamina, and fierce Determination. Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ A Bridle ‣ A Jump Saddle Background Requirements: ‣ Background Relating to Cross Country Riding The time starts ticking as soon as you clear the start box - the first fence is a simple log jump, but that's easy. It's the Coffin Jump that really has you worried - but an encouraging squeeze and a "You Got This" and the ditch jump is behind you. Now time to focus as you come through the water combination - an easy log jump, to a bank, WHOA - that's a steep drop down, but there's no turning back. Splash and kick on - you've cleared it and now galloping away. That table was wider than you are tall! Is that the finish line in sight? And you made it in Optimal Time! Congratulations! Training Time to practice and make perfect. Work on building upon the foundations or just getting them started. Ground Work, In Hand Work, and Hard Work. Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ Caveson & Side Reins -or- Bridle ‣ Surcingle -or- Saddle Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Training Theme To get to the top - it takes a lot of wet saddlepads. Putting in the hard work, the sweat, the time to be better. Evey day, every ride, every work session makes tomorrow easier. Whether your helping a yearling learn manners, or a three year old wear its first saddle, a five year old learning new manuevers, or an established show horse preparing for an upcoming competition - everyone is working hard. Senior Party! You heard right! It's all about the aged horses here! It's a retirement party for all those who have given us their best life. They have so much left to live - but deserve an extra special day to celebrate just how special they truly are. Bring your mature horses to this party!

Heart racing, you head to their stall and see the old horse dozing in the sun. A sigh of relief escapes your lips as you take a moment to watch the beloved senior resting. When did their muzzle turn grey, and their eyes become so sunken, maybe a few more flakes of hay and an extra scoop of grain will fill out their ribs. You can't even bring yourself to think of the near future where one day, they won't be in the barn. To put off that grief - you instead decide to celebrate their life and all their accomplishments with a PARTY! ✸ Introducing a NEW Class! ✸ Pony Club You must be under 14.2HH to be allowed in this CLUB! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult or Foal Pony Breed Restrictions ‣ Sport Pony Only Tack Requirements: ‣ At least Two (2) Tack Item Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Pony Club Theme This is for the Pony Lovers! Just because we're small doesn't mean we're not mighty! Whether you're headed to Pony Finals to kick butt, or heading down the trail pulling a carriage - it's all Ponies All the Time! - - - • You may use as many items as you want! • Get Creative! Many tack and decor items can be used multiple ways! • It is highly encouraged to be creative and think outside the box - you don't have to use traditional tack always, as long as it can be reasoned, it will be accepted. • It is not required to be extravagant - if you only have an item or two, go for it! Jousting ∴ Theme Classes ∴ 🍂 Autumn Ride 🍁 ✸ 🌊 Under The Sea 🐠 ✸ The Dressage, Mare & Foal, Color of the Rainbow, and Jousting classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel! (remember, if you are chosen for this week's judges panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes) Dressage Where the Precision, Dedication, Elegance, and Perfection of Horse & Rider are tested as they Dance from A to C Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ A Bridle ‣ A Dressage -OR- Baroque Saddle Background Requirements: ‣ Arena Background Are you off to a show? Working towards your Bronze or Silver medal or even Olympic Gold? Are you practicing your flatwork? Or are your showing a new level test for the first time?
Just don't forget your test the moment you head down centerline to salute! Mare & Foal After anxiously analyzing potential breeding matches, your foal is finally here! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony ‣ Foal Decor -OR- Foal Entry Tack Requirements: ‣ Must have at least One (1) tack item on the Mare ‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item, Foal entry must have One (1) tack item Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor Item for Mare (& Foal) Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Mare & Foal Theme ‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item, - Foal must have a matching background Notes: » Mare & Foal do not have to be related but should look as though they are dam and offspring. » Only Mare entries utilizing Foal Decor Items could have 'twins' You're barely functioning on zero sleep and all the caffeine you could consume on an empty stomach. This mare is Five Days past her Due Date! She's so big that she can hardly walk and looks at you with a "How could you do this to me!" glare every time you enter her stall. The veterinarian is also at a loss for why the mare won't go into labor and says "call me if anything changes".
"That's it!" You say on the morning of the 7th day of spending all night in the barn aisle wrapped up in a sleeping bag. "Today is the day you are having that baby! I will bring it out myself if I have to!" You threaten the heavily pregnant mare, who stares at you with blank eyes and takes another mouthful of hay. "I am just going up to the house to shower and grab coffee. Don't do anything crazy." Famous last words. You swear - it was less than 15 minutes. You've been by her side night and day, and she took the opportunity while you were gone. But look how gorgeous and perfect the little foal is! Good Job Mom! Color Of The Rainbow🌈 Dress up your horse in One or All of the Available HEE Colors!

HEE Artists have done such a fantastic job with the Colors on the tack! So let's celebrate in STYLE! Whether you have a Favorite Color (or your horse does!) or one that you think looks great with your pony - dress them up and show them off! But what to do when you can't pick just one? Pick them all! Go all out in Rainbow Style! Jousting With the help of a squire - you don a full set of armor. Your horse stands nearby already garbed in bright colors and stamped with your shield crest. You hear the roar of the crowd as they cheer and stamp their feet - ready to watch knights duel for honor and the fair maiden's/handsome prince's hand. Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse Breed Restrictions ‣ Knabstrupper, Warmblood and Registered Irish Draught Only Tack Requirements: ‣ Baroque Saddle ‣ Blanket Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor Item Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Jousting Theme You hear the whistle and squeeze your mount up into a gallop. All you see is a thin slit in your full faced helmet. The adrenaline courses through your body as you charge full tilt towards an oncoming opponent. A few strides out and you lower the ten foot lance and aim for a center blow - all the while, your adversary is doing the same. A blink of an eye - and the glory could be yours. - - - • You may use as many items as you want! • Get Creative!
