The Dressage, Mounted Games, Clashy Clashy and Get Spotted classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel!

(remember, if you are chosen for this show's judges panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes)

Dressage

Where the Precision, Dedication, Elegance, and Perfection of Horse & Rider are Tested as they Dance from A to C

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

Tack Requirements:

‣ A Bridle

‣ A Dressage -OR- Baroque Saddle

Background Requirements:

‣ Dressage Court or Arena Background

Trotting down the centerline, you halt at X and salute the judge. Wait, what comes next? Deep breath and it all comes rushing back to you. You pick up the working trot and circle at A. An extended trot across the diagonal. You transition to the canter and perform the shallow serpentine down the long side. The free walk comes next and you repeat the test in the opposite direction. You find yourself back at X saluting the judge and give your horse a big pat on the neck for a job well done.

Mounted Games

It's time for Team Events! Dress up in spectacular outfits to stand out in the crowd as you race through patterns, around obstacles, and hand off the baton to the next in line.

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

Tack Requirements:

‣ At least One (1) Tack item

‣ At least One (1) Tack item from the Extras Section

(Mane/Tail/Hoof/Dye & Paint)

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Mounted Games Theme

This class is the opposite of Style. Here we promote stripes and polka dots, reds and oranges, and just not getting things perfectly 'right'. Go ahead and let your Freak Flag fly high!

‣ Adult or Foal Horse/Pony

Color Restrictions:

‣ Must have Spots! Patterns or Markings

Tack Requirements:

Cross Country

Where the Bravery, Courage, and Heart of the horse are truly tested as they must overcome challenging natural obstacles

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

Tack Requirements:

‣ A Bridle

‣ A Jump Saddle

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to Cross Country Jumping

The time starts ticking as soon as you clear the start box - the first fence is a simple log jump, but that's easy. It's the Coffin Jump that really has you worried - but an encouraging squeeze and a "You Got This" and the ditch jump is behind you. Now time to focus as you come through the water combination - an easy log jump, to a bank, WHOA - that's a steep drop down, but there's no turning back. Splash and kick on - you've cleared it and now galloping away. That table was wider than you are tall! Is that the finish line in sight? And you made it in Optimal Time! Congratulations!

Turn Out

Let your horse stretch their legs out in the paddock or pasture!.

Daily turn out is one of the best things for a horse - living as closely as their natural lifestyle while also meeting the demands of domestication. Some horses like to go out with friends and others spend the time grazing by themselves. Some like to frolic in the fields and some are stuck looking longingly over the fence while they're stuck in the dry lot.

Senior Party

You heard right! It's all about the aged horses here! It's a retirement party for all those who have given us their best life. They have so much left to live - but deserve an extra special day to celebrate just how special they truly are. Bring your mature horses to this party!

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony - Must be 17 or Older

Tack Requirements:

‣ Unicorn Horn, Antlers, Top Hat, or Bunny Ears

Decor Requirements:

‣ At least One (1) Decor Item

Background Requirements:

When you walk into the barn, it's their nicker that you don't hear. Heart racing, you head to their stall and see the old horse dozing in the sun. A sigh of relief escapes your lips as you take a moment to watch the beloved senior resting.
When did their muzzle turn grey, and their eyes become so sunken, maybe a few more flakes of hay and an extra scoop of grain will fill out their ribs. You can't even bring yourself to think of the near future where one day, they won't be in the barn. To put off that grief - you instead decide to celebrate their life and all their accomplishments with a PARTY!

Classical Dressage

You ride for one of the Prestigious Riding Schools and about to go on stage for the evening Performance showcasing all that you and your mount have accomplished

The historical Spanische Hofreitschule at Vienna with the brilliant Lipizzaner stallions

The legendary Cadre Noir of the École de cavalerie at Saumur

The elite Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre and the regal Andalusians

The classical Escola Portuguesa de Arte Equestre and the elegant Lusitanos

Entry Must Include:

🠒 One entry for the Ridden portion

🠒 One entry for the In-Hand portion

‣ Two (2) adult Horse/Pony

Breed Restrictions:

‣ RID, PON, SH

‣ Must Be A Solid Color

(no excess white or dilutes)

Grey or White for those representing Lipizzaner or Andalusian - may allow one Bay

Ridden Tack Requirements:

‣ A Full -OR- Baroque Bridle

‣ A Baroque Saddle

In-Hand Tack Requirements:

‣ A Snaffle Bridle -OR- Caveson

‣ A Surcingle -OR- Saddle with Side-Reins

Background Requirements:

‣ Arena Background

With highly trained maneuvers dating back to days of the cavalry, these talented horses show the precision required for advanced dressage movements and ultimately the stunning Haute école.
During a Performance, horses of various states in their training will show their abilities - from horses demonstrating the exemplary Grand Prix Dressage Movements (Passage, Piaffe, Temp Changes) to those who are learning to preform the Haute école (Capriole, Courbette, Levade) steps in hand or between pillars. In the final phase of the showcase - riders mount up the elite horses without stirrups and perform the "Airs Above The Ground Movements, the epitome of all the training and skill of both horse and rider.
