I would like a second type of evaluation for horses, a training evaluation. This would be a "professional opinion" of the horse's strongest sport. It wouldn't give numbers or ratings, just a readout like "This horse seems to be particularly suited for Jumping." Or even "This horse seems to be fairly well-rounded. Why not try Eventing?"

This would be useful for those barns full of PEE and EEE geldings so you could get started on the best training from the outset instead of waiting 5 or 7 weeks to figure out XC or Jumping -or- Dressage or XC, etc.

It could be accessed through an item or purchased as an extra (like the breed approvals) or purchased as a stable add-on (like round pens) or added to the paid account perks, however you think benefits the site the most. I personally favor the "purchased as an extra" option, because it would benefit free accounts to know how to train a horse they can't rate for a couple weeks, while not giving away that "best suited for Dressage" means it's ASubSub.

With the "JUST KIDDING"- Item, I like that! But I think it needs to be used right on the breeding. As in "Do you want to use a Just Kidding token on this breeding to be able to make a colt a filly?" If you then want the colt to stay a colt or it comes out a filly anyways, the pricey token would be gone (to prevent overusage). Also, I think there should be a maximum usage of 1x per stable and game year. There's no way your vet would be kidding you with every foal you get lol.

The Stable Hand Shuffle thing and the tack coupons I also like :)

Wanderer's Map - A weathered map marked with forgotten trails and hidden caches. For the next 30 minutes, you have a rare chance of discovering bonus items while capturing wild horses.

Lucky Lasso - Legend says any horse caught with this lasso is destined to become a loyal companion. For the next 30 minutes, you have a small increased chance of capturing wild horses with higher bravery

Peacock Feather - Carried by collectors in search of nature's rarest beauties. For the next 30 minutes, you have a slightly increased chance of capturing wild horses with uncommon or rare coat colors. (This item would not affect actual genetic traits, but maybe it could also increase the chance of a brindle)

For a single use item:

Moonstone Charm - A shimmering moonstone believed to bring beauty and good fortune. The next foal produced has a slightly increased chance of inheriting a rare cosmetic color or marking. (This item would not affect actual genetic traits, but maybe it could also increase the chance of a brindle)

Tack Trunk of Possibilities

A dusty tack trunk. You can combine this item with 3 medallions of your choice to get a different medallion. So unwanted quest medallions have a purpose. The medallion it gives is random and cannot be traded. For example, you could trade in 3 cross country medallions and get a jumping medallion. Another example, you could trade in 3 height medallions and get a bravery medallion.

Faded Ribbon

Your horse's training sessions and traits/levels are reset. So that players can reset training if they accidentally train a horse in SD, but a horse with untracked training, or accidentally enter a trail ride or speciality clinic.
