Let me start this off with thanking Gem for the idea! As some of you have seen I no longer do commissions. As an artist I have found that I've hit a wall with custom art, but I still want to have a way to make peoples dream art and give back to the community every now and then. . With that being said, in here I want people to throw their ideas at me and the idea I vibe with the most I'll make art for completely free. The art will come with all cuts, including palette if the winner wants those. . Ooo yes!! This is so exciting, I've got ideas in my notes app xD
- idea 1: - This would be featuring my OC Auravian! They do have a mildly spoopy version I've been working on so your welcome to pick whichever ;) In the background, a brightly and warmly lit snowy mountain clearing, ideally with some lovely trees framing the clearing, the light source illuminating the snow and trees, while some clouds float in the sky. For our subject xD: In the middle, Auravian with his back sets of wings spread, backlight by the light source, with a nice med-long thick mane and tail weaving around his neck, ears, head wings, and legs, just whatever looks fun and visually interesting! Ideally some kind of 3/4 rear with one leg bent near her chest and the other out, or a standing with one leg raised, either way preferably looking towards the 'camera'! Their eyes glowing with the same hue as the light source, and the spots where their feet make contact with the ground exuding a magical glow XD Pretty much just very magical and ethereal, he's meant to be a mysterious magical creature so do with that what you will, I love akhal stock as well, so that's a bonus if you want to use one xD - - idea 2: - inspired by a scene from one of my favorite series with my two favorite characters xD this one is one I've wanted for quite a while, it'd feature two horses running across a field, the sky streaked with meteors, the horse in front with his head turned back towards the other while they run. The front horse would have a black mane & tail with red eyes and one sharp tooth poking out the side of his mouth; the other would have a silver mane & tail with a metal choker around his neck. Other than that full creative freedom! Happy to give lots of inspo pictures/references for the horses!! - - idea 3 - I'd love to get a piece of this boy, a nighttime green, warm-toned, meadow with lots of small flowers, him maybe cantering at a 3/4 angle? or really doing whatever honestly xD I'd love to have it moonlight from behind, and him looking very magical and happy! If you don't want to deal with the logistics of his jewelry, your welcome to just nix it, and you can make his mane/tail longer if it fits the piece better! <3 - - (If you want to go super spooky I have this OC too xD) |

The Light Picked It A huge Akhal-Teke-inspired alicorn stands in the middle of a forgotten forest clearing, its silver coat catching the moonlight in a way that almost makes it look unreal. It has massive, twisted antlers growing around a long unicorn horn, tangled with pale flowers and dark vines, while its mane falls all the way to the ground in thick waves that drift around it like they're moving underwater. The clearing is covered in white moonflowers, but something feels wrong about them—they all seem to be facing the horse instead of the moon. A cold beam of light breaks through the trees and lights up only the alicorn, leaving the rest of the forest swallowed by shadows and fog. Its tail trails behind it through the flowers, impossibly long and scattered with glowing petals, and faint star-like markings can be seen beneath its skin whenever the light catches it just right. It Likes the Rain A soft, gentle warmblood horse stands alone in a sunlit meadow just after rain, where everything still smells fresh and the grass is dotted with tiny droplets that sparkle like glass. Its coat is smooth and slightly glossy, catching the light in warm tones, and its long mane falls messily over its neck as if it’s always just been running through wind and flowers. Little birds occasionally land on its back without it reacting, and its tail sways slowly behind it, brushing through the wet grass and leaving faint trails like it’s painting the ground as it moves. Snow Keeps It Still A strange but gentle creature stands in a forest clearing that feels almost ordinary at first—until the snow begins to fall in soft, quiet layers, turning everything into something almost unreal. Flakes drift through the trees and settle on its back, mane, and lashes like the forest is carefully decorating it. From the front it looks like a strong, calm warmblood horse—broad chest, steady stance, soft, thoughtful eyes—but rising from its head are wide branching antlers that feel like they belong to winter itself rather than anything dangerous. Its long mane spills over its neck in heavy, tangled waves dusted with snow, shifting slightly whenever it breathes. Just after its stomach, its body shifts into something lighter and deer-like, as if the weight of it fades into the cold air, with delicate hindquarters and thin elegant legs that sink gently into the snow with each subtle movement. The transition between horse and deer is seamless and natural, like the creature was always meant to exist in both forms at once, never fully one thing or the other. Tiny frozen vines and pale winter flowers cling to the place where the forms meet, caught in frost as though the forest itself is preserving the boundary instead of questioning it. It stands completely still beneath the falling snow, antlers gathering white dust, looking less like something that lives in the forest and more like something the forest quietly dreamed into existence. |

Idea1: Rento|WWW named after water lilies. He is more on the feminine vibe. Taking place around water lilies whether in water or on shore. As a reference of how his personality is within this image. Character vibe is feel like a robe or sheer ribbon around the horse would work best. Maybe a flowing sheer ribbon in the image to tie everything together |

alrighty, the ghost will return with one of my ideas from gems giveaway :3 Ghost of the cliff: A slightly transparent/white hued buckskin and or cremello horse streached out at a full run heading for the edge of a moonlit cliff. his ears are pinned, eyes full of fear. he knows hes going to plummet to his death he already has, but he cant stop as his spirt is stuck in that one moment for the rest of eternity. Tones of blue red and grey tones for this one, but id like the focus to be more of the sheer terror in this horses posture and eyes :D oh and i live for little extra details and easter eggs hidden in art ^^ |

Love this! I have a ton of ideas lol :) 1 - Fire Dragon The horse is covered in shimmering red and gold scales. The head has giant horns that curve like a serpent and golden glowing eyes. The mane, tail, and hooves are made of fire. The horse is set in a ruby cave and is guarding a large pile of jewels, gold, and treasure. The atmosphere is smoky as the dragon regularly snorts fire. 2 - Kelpie A black horse with sections that are rotting or skeletonized. The eyes glow green revealing the decay of the coat. The horse is tangled in bog moss and seaweed. The setting is a murky marsh or swamp with the horse wading through the still water. The atmosphere is dark and misty with the main source of light coming from the glowing eyes. 3 - Valkyrie A magnificent armored pegasus gallops through the heavens. The pegasus is a light color with golden armor and gold thread woven throughout its mane and tail. The wings are large and feathered with the ends plated in gold. The hooves are also golden and leave a trail of sparkling mist along the path. The setting is heavenly with the horse running through/over vibrant fluffy clouds. 4 - Opalescent A majestic grey alicorn gallops down a moonlit beach. The bright full moon illuminates the horse and reveals its shimmering pearlescent coat. The horn's glow reflects the light from the moon and illuminates the horse's bright shimmering eyes. The tops of the massive feathered wings also glow cutting through the darkness of the dark coastline. 5 - Jelly Horse The horse floats in the pitch-black deep sea. The horse illuminates the surrounding water with a soft glow. The horse itself is slightly transparent with a large jellyfish bell casting an illuminated net across the horse's head and neck. The mane, tail, and hooves become long trailing tentacles that drift in the surrounding water. 6 - Misty Pegasus A massive draft pegasus stands atop a large waterfall wedged between misty mountains. The horse is either grey, dun, or champagne with a long mane and tail that flows with the water to the edge of the falls. The wings are fully unfurled with the feathers reflecting the mist of the cascading waterfall. The atmosphere is misty and serene. 7 - Peacock Instead of a traditional coat, the alicorn's body is covered in iridescent feathers that reflect the coloring of a peacock. In place of a horn there is a fan-like crest of feathers. The tail is a blanket of long peacock feathers that are draped over the hindquarters like a cape or blanket. |

This may be a tad bit sad, but it's an image I had in my mind since I first heard Starset's Everglow. The whole point of the image is to showcase a stage of helplessness where one had already accepted their fate. A horse, floating in space with stars and galaxies in the background, but nothing too closeby. The horse is dark grey, barely standing out of the background, but the mane and tail are lighter grey with a blue hue, the mane flowing upwards and forwards at the same time in a messy way while the tail goes behind the horse. The most important part of the image is the expression on the horse's face as it looks into the distance with hopelessness. It doesn't struggle, doesn't try to move, just floats and watches, looking towards the traces of its lover it set out to find. |

Growing up as a horse girly, I absolutely LOVED Bella Sara cards. My grandma used to take me and my cousins to the store, and we would all rush home and excitedly open and trade our cards. . . I think it would be a fun twist to design a piece inspired by a Bella Sara horse. My favorite is Nike, though there are many beautiful horses that would offer the fantasy vibe you are looking for (and as much as I love Nike, I know some people don't love working on wings!) . . NIKE: . Nike: Nike is a brown winged mare with green eyes and a wispy light pink mane and tail. Her angelic wings are an ethereal mix of snowy white, pastel pink, lilac, and icy blue feathers. Fastened to a silver and opal belt is a flowing gossamer ribbon that drapes around her neck and trails behind her.
