Mossy Lane Stables said: We will take everyone's feed back into consideration for the future, thank you all. As a team of Artists, we understand the time that goes into each piece, but we aren't necessarily asking for 100% ready pieces. We accept WIP's becase we know that life gets busy and it's on a tight schedule. If you aren't competeing against anyone, feel free to just throw a WIP in there, just make sure that the stock is recognizable. - First and foremost, let me explain the Prelims, such as we have several times already. The Prelims will be posted but it will be after the Rumble has come to an end due to the pieces having stable name/numbers. If this is a concern to you, let us know and we will fix it to the best of our ability. - Caprina Springs To answer your original question, "Are the cut off entry times upheld or were some allowed to enter regardless of whether they were entered late?" The cut off entry times are upheld, but there had been a typo on the forum that allowed for Happy Juice to get a late entry in because it technically wasn't late. If an artist doesn't submit an entry, they can't move forwards, so we take WIPs instead of the "no shows". - Any other questions and concerns can be sent my way at 325753. Please don't hesitate to reach out, and thank you everyone for your patience.
This is one answer to one question but the main one I would appreciate some clarification on in a public setting instead of doing a he-said-she-said situation; On the topic of bye's and such, that is all understandable. But what isn't understandable is then why are the same people in the same tier who have already participated in a 1v1 now doing it again in round 2?? why are they not excluded until the next round to participate in another 1v1 and have the other competitors who didnt already go through a 1v1 (IN THAT SAME CATEGORY) do a 1v1 instead. ^I am a lot more concerned with this^ there should be NO reason that an immediate previous 1v1 competitor should be thrown into ANOTHER right after. This is unfair. That is where from my perspective it does not seem "random" anymore. If it were random you would give EVERYONE at least one chance to move on regardless of what they submit. Imma be blunt. This isnt about me, and regardless of what the actual intention of your answer to me specifically about "no shows" seems extremely targeted to the fact I did not have time to enter a piece. I also had little to no time to even log on either. So I personally do not appreciate that answer in that regard. You can ban me from all remaining rumbles for all I care but I am not going to stay quiet about the oddity of the SAME people doing a 1v1 immediately after they already participated in one meanwhile almost the same people get to move on. It is not my intention to be rude, though I know for a fact that I sound very rude but I am very exhausted of asking the same question only to not get an actual response other than "its random". Doesnt seem that way. Edited at July 14, 2025 04:48 PM by Cadence Farms

I can see how this kind of draw seems unfair but it's just how it works out. Again I can't speak for the Rumble team or how this draw was done, but generally one draw is done right at the start of a contest, this draw takes you right the way through until the finals. There isn't a new draw at the start of every round. I'll try to explain below, if I have time tomorrow I will draw out a chart which makes it easier to see how it's done. With 6 competitors (to make it easieron me): Round 1 1v2 3v4 5vbye 6vbye Round 2 The winner of 1v2 plays the winner of 3v4 5v6 Round 3 If 6 drops out then 5 gets another bye. If the winner of 1v2 drops out then 3v4 gets a bye. Hope that helps. Edited at July 14, 2025 03:57 PM by Harmony

Yes I understand this. That's not the issue im trying to address. I'm trying to address that only certain artists are getting free passes not once, twice, but 3 times now if you include the prelim. but even without the prelim, they are moving forward with 0 consequence meanwhile some are having to go head to head not once but twice in a row. I dont know if Im wording it wrong but I dont understand how that seems fair at all.

I understand how you feel Caprina, but in a regular rumble with 12 competitors per tier, you would compete back to back for 5 weeks straight. Its unfortunate that a few people and tiers had to compete in the first round while some people got a free pass to round 2, but that's just how the numbers worked out. If we gave those 1v1 competitors a "break" from doing the second round, then the bracket would be screwed up. As I've said, hopefully next rumble will be smoothed out, and the more we can fill it out, the better. In regards to not having time to log on: in the prelim round I worked 5 days of 10-12 hour shifts. It can be a work in progress, you can hate it, but at least it's soemthing. In round one, I was on vacation/roadtrip and barely had any free time too. It's super tough, real life can get in the way of a lot. If the rumble is too much for you and your circumstances, that's ok! I would personally recommend trying to plan RL around the rumble if you really want to compete in it, but like my situation, I can't change much. If you can't finish a piece oh well, but there seems to be so many DNF each year and that's why they implemented a WIP submission policy. Again, I'll restate that I'm sure the rumble team is doing their best to fix these issues so that the next few rounds run more smoothly, and so that next year's rumble has a better setup!

The fact that everyone needed to submit a piece regardless means that everyone had to put in some work. Is it fair? Not really. But a fair is where you ride the Ferris wheel, and unfortunately real life doesn't always work out that way.

This is my last post here, I will drop it after this. I dont have a problem with the competition of some 1v1 and some not. The issue is that the SAME people are doing 1v1. for example, the people who JUST moved on after a 1v1 are doing ANOTHER 1v1 when there are people who HAVENT participated in one yet. I dont know how else to say it... but I will drop the subject now. Im sorry for any inconvenience these posts have caused Im just simply trying to point out this very big flaw that looks like foulplay in my personal opinion and i dont want to believe that it is so that is why I was attempting to get clarification on why the system was set up in thag soecific way of the same people in round 2 essentially being "weeded out" is the best way i can put it currently

Rumble Team |
OK.. I have had enough of this! We the Rumble Team have done our very best to try to bring you a fun and interesting competiton. I will not tolerate people making assumptions and accusations to me or my Team. Let me set some facts straight. - This is our FIRST Rumble as a team... Reality, Mossy, Coldwater and HRS and I all have tried very hard to make this a FUN event for you all. That being said, it is expected that there will be "bumps in the road" and learning curves. We are playing an international game and trying our best to manage our own Real Life events and connect to try to provide the HEE community entertainment.. This is something that has plagued the Rumble from Llama Queen on down. I OFFERED to take it over to try to SAVE it... because it used to be something that was greatly anticipated and appreciated.
- The Preliminary Round: The Rumble Team has based our method of hosting on the way it has been done in previous Rumbles. I was told the first round was a Preliminary Round and yes it was originally started to weed out the artists and narrow it to 16. The Rumble Team decided to continue this round with the anticipation of having a large turn out in each Tier. Unfortunately, we did not have as big of a turn out as we had hoped. Yes, it was told to the competitors that they could sign their art pieces as had been done it previous Rumbles. After I published that, I realized that would be a contradiction to the artists remaining anonymous. Therefore, I consulted with the Rumble Team and it was decided to release them at the end of the Rumble for this reason. NOW, yes.. I had a real life emergency that I needed to tend to and it kept me away from the internet and being able to address everyone at the same time. For those stating they saw me online for extended periods of time... yes if I managed to find the time to get online, I was working checking the emails, and filling in spreadsheets and trying to check credits... which there are issues with some of those in prelims too. So just because I or a team member may not have addressed you immediately, it does not mean that we were blowing you off or anything. We have hosted this for you.. and we want it to be the best that it can. So, I apologize if things are crazy.. we are trying.. we are frustrated.. but we want to make this fun for everyone.
- Timing for the Rumble: The Rumble has always been held around July and use to have a second one in the fall. We followed the same calendar blocks that Tasi used and just altered the dates to fit (here is where another mistake was made by me. I did not realize that when I filled in the dates that I had skipped July 10th.. that put all the days past that off by one.. so this is how Happy Juice was misinformed by my dates). In my attempt to do the right thing, I made the decision to allow them to submit their entry a day later. The only thing that really changed would be that now Mystic Butterfly has a competitor which was the whole goal of 1vs1 anyway. Yes there were ALOT of single competitors. However, in the interest of the game The Rumble Team felt it would be best to keep all the artists in competiton. It would not be fair to have someone sit out just because they did not have a competitor..this is about dedication and commitment.. and turning your artwork in. We wanted everyone to have a chance at each round so that is why we asked the artists to submit entries even if they did not have an immediate competitor (instead of doing a bye).. that being said, if someone who had a competitor who did not turn any art work in.. we could pair them another artist who did not have a competitor. This is not the ideal way to do this apparently.. and if we decide to move forward, we have learned from our mistakes. We are not pushing everyone through by any means.. we just do not have enough competiton for elimination rounds.. and the rounds had already been set up for a larger amount of participation. So if you all want more 1vs1.. tell your friends to join next time.. or don't enter if you can't compete in every round. We try to make turning the art in easy for you to stay in the comptetiton.. all we ask is to make an effort.. that should not be too hard.. and to those who did let me know that you had things come up and you could not continue one...THANK YOU.. I appreciate you being candid with us and letting us know. We appreciate your support and hope that we will see you in future events.
- I appreciate all of you and all of your beautiful entries. I must thank my team for trying to answer all of your questions and to make everyone happy. If you still have concerns please contact me and we will see if we can come to a resoultion. We just want to move forward and try to have a great Rumble. We honestly are trying our hardest.. so please try to be a little more lenient on us.. it isn't worth all the bickering and tough talk.. we are providing this for you all .. but we are not perfect and we are learning from our mistakes. Thank you artiststs and HEE. Let's wrap this up and see what the next couple of rounds hold. We really do have some fun things in store so I hope you will all stick around! Thanks SCF

I haven't read all the posts but please note you are doing an amazing job and I am sorry if people are giving issues. I really hope the artist rumble continues because I really love doing this SCF Sporting Chance said: OK.. I have had enough of this!
