Hello all! Versa here, and I'm looking for new OC babies to love and adore, and get artwork for. My birthday is coming up so this is how I plan to spoil myself, lol! I would prefer horses, but can make an exception for cats or (bonus points) horses with a kitty companion! Please note that although I appreciate the idea of them coming with names, I'm going to reserve the right to change the name if I find something more fitting into my general crew. I'm NOT going to link my current OCs so that creativity can run the show here, and not a baseline of what I already have. :) All entries MUST follow HEE's rules. Entries do not have to be a manip, they can be cute little coloured sketches, or even a character sheet! As long as the design itself is yours, there are no limits here. <3 Just in general, some likes: - Dark bases with lighter or coloured details (this is NOT hard set, I love colours so do what looks good!) - Hair, leg feathers, go as wild as you want - Butterflies & birds - Wings and horns' . Favourites (and highly valued when choosing): - Fantasy - Kitty companions, matching or otherwise appears to "fit" - I looooove Egyptian themes, something related to Bastet with a cat would be cool - Cherry blossoms! - Glowy stuff - Unique markings - Owls! Barn owls always will have a special place - Something obviously human-created and made with love :) . Dislikes: - Apricot, roan, sabino - Exact HEE patterns (please, I'd like my babies to be different <3) - A lot of orange. Here and there is fine, appreciated when blended, but a traffic cone isn't gonna make it far. LOL - I don't have any fandoms so please don't - Builds that are overly thin . PRIZES! 1st | 1mil 2nd | 750k 3rd | 500k 4th & 5th | 250k each I am SUPER willing to add more places if this gets lots of attention! I am also going to offer 150k per design I like AFTER the contest ends. Enter as many designs as you'd like! All of my plans for OC's end up being so much more simple than I imagined them but that's okay! Backstory: Layla and Wally are two peas in a pod, and have been for their entire life together. They met on an island in Egypt, struggling to survive until the found eachother, which gave them all the hope they needed. After getting rescued and brought back to the mainland, they never left eachothers sides. Fun fact! - Wally is blind in one eye, which is why he uses Layla as his way to get around

Alright, here's my first entry! I heard fantasy, i heard egypt, i practically heard all my favorite words so i jumped at this xD I might go in and tweak it some more, but after working on his feline friend (much like dogs...cats are NOT in my skillset) i need to get it out TOT I had a ton of fun on this dude, and despite not having the bandwith to make a realism version of him, i love a good stylized chibi xD - clicky img Meet Dhahab an his kitty companion Qita! I was heavily debating between an ibis and a cat for his little buddy, so i might make an alternate version as well ;) Dhahab is a big giant boy, and a very elegant one at that. His name comes from the Arabic word for gold, and signifies value, wealth, prosperity, and treasure. He and Qita live deep in the desert sands of Egypt, and he's always effortlessly gliding across the dunes, sun reflecting off of his jewelry. As he wanders his coat is slowly cracking and chipping away to reveal a mystifying lapis lazuli hue underneath, which will one day, centuries in the future, fully dissipate, leaving him a striking blue decorated with his golden accessories. - I tried to include almost everything on the actual ref sheet, hopefully that gives a clear idea! I'm pretty beat after today so i'm sure his lil lore dump was pretty incoherent, but alas, he can infact see through his mask despite the lack of eye holes lol, it was inspired by the masks seen in ancient egyptian depictions of animal-headed gods ;) I am happy to make whatever changes to his name/anything else on his sheet, and i hope you like the fancy boy!! He might be my favorite OC i've designed thus far xD - edit: he also loves his bundle of silk, i can absolutely see him and Qita laying on it taking a desert nap xD |

Here is my entry! 
Sugar and Spice are close buddies. Spice the owl likes to ride around with Sugar after meals and naps. They sleep together on a magical cloud that floats around so that every time they are ready to explore they have a new place to wander around. Sugar is a magic pink tabby horse and Spice is a cute horned owl.
